This Oil Pastel colors can be blended on a palette using any oil painting craft medium such as linseed or safflower painting oil and then used in painting and blushing the dolls to give the most realistic features and colour tones possible by many reborn artists we sell to...

I personally blend them with a tiny bit of Johnson's Baby Oil because I prefer the baby sweet smell of that to the linseed oil ~

These oil pastel crayons are so useful for a variety of detail reborning colouring tasks such as applying colour highlights to the baby skin in layers...and blending tones for face, torso, and limbs.

These mediums would be for exterior coloring on your reborn's skin and preferably on a pre-blended colour tone base you can create using our colorbox cat eye pigment pads, or by rubbing in our blendable delta creme stencil paints, also you could give base color to your reborn using the rit dye set, or even our oil paint colour set.. so many options!

Depending on the color tone you select and use..I have used the blue, green, and light blue tones for subtle veining and the peachy, pink, red, and fleshtone colors for blushing baby's face and the pastel oil paints are also great for blushing and lightly tinting the dolls limbs and vinyl torso for added realism.
